Many people use garages as an additional storage place for general household items, and the statistics show that not many people use their garage for storing their vehicle nowadays, this is especially true of those who have joint garages which are built beside their property. This is mainly because cars can survive weather conditions in the UK whilst driveways are often secure enough, so there’s not necessarily a need to store a car in a garage. If you do, you will be one of the rare few, and it’s quite astonishing really, especially considering garages were built with car storage in mind. Of course, if you only have one car and would much rather have some additional storage space or perhaps even another room in your house that can make perfect sense, but if you’re keen to protect your motor at all costs then it does make sense to keep it in the garage, just make sure you have an excellent garage door that’s strong, durable and secure.
