Some garage doors need a little bit of maintenance work from time to time, yet others will need replacing completely, and we’re going to talk you through the early warning indicators.

Leaks
If you’ve suddenly noticed that your garage door isn’t quite as sealed as it once was, then it could be time for a new system entirely. Leaks can soon cause rust, and the early you spot any leaks the better it is, and it may mean that a repair is far less expensive.
Alarming Noises
If you’re suddenly hearing parts crunching or crackling as the garage door opens or closes then there could be one or a few damaged parts inside. Any new noises should be investigated quickly, and it’s always an obvious indicator that something is wrong.
Paint Deterioration
When you’re paint is wearing thin rust can become an issue, and this of course leads to bigger problems, Most garage doors will be finished in paint that last for quite some time, and when it fades, you’ll know your garage door is on the way out.
