We’re often asked about sectional garage doors because at the moment, not many homeowners in the UK have them. Roller doors and up and over doors are extremely common, but sectional are still relatively new to the scene. That said, they are becoming more popular and here’s why:
With a sectional door, you save space because when the door is opened the sections fold flat above. This means that the only space used when opening the door is above the opening, so the tightest of garages can fit standard cars and extra storage. They’re also pretty trendy and they come in a range of styles. Sectional doors can include window sections, panel designs, different finishes and electric operation, whilst material options range from timber to steel. Sectional garage doors aren’t the most common but they’re seen as a luxury garage door opening and they will only get more popular in the years to come.
